Current Chapter Members
Zoë Welsh is a junior at St. Joseph’s University majoring in Sociology with a double minor in Spanish and Managing Human Capital. She is from Washington, D.C. and is the chapter Parliamentarian and Ivy Leaf Reporter. On St. Joseph’s campus, Zoë is a class of 2022 senator in the student senate, as well as a 2020 Newman civic fellow.
Jasmine May is a Junior at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Psychology on the pre-med track. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia she is the corresponding secretary of the chapter. In addition to her service to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., she is the VP of Programming of the Intercultural Greek Council, a volunteer at the Hospital of UPenn, a university calculus tutor, the Marketing Chair for the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students, and a member of the Inspiration A Capella
Camryn Honesty is a 4th year student (in a 5 year program) at Drexel University with a Double Major in Operations/Supply Chain and Technology Innovation Management with a minor in Dance. She is from Bowie, Maryland and serves as the current vice president for the chapter. She also is the Co-Chair for LeBow BRIDGE at Drexel University, a Dance Instructor for Drexel’s Unity in Expression, and a member of Drexel’s Black Student Union.
Maya Hairston is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in English. She is from Malvern, PA and serves as the president of UPenn's Black Pre-Law Association.
Nia Robinson is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Business Economics and Public Policy. Originally from Chicago, IL, Nia is Chapter Treasurer.
Ashley Codner is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in English with minors in Consumer Psychology and Jazz and Popular Music Studies. She is from Merrick, NY and is chapter President. At UPenn, Ashley is a member of the Onyx Senior Honor Society, as well as a Big and board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Taya Lowery-Williams is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in International Relations with a minor in Linguistics. Originally from Washington, D.C., she is the recording secretary of the chapter. At UPenn, Taya is a SPEC Concerts Director, and an UMOJA board member.
Shantal Perez Vasquez is a senior at Drexel University majoring in Technology Innovation Management and Marketing. She is from Philadelphia, PA and is a mentor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America and Manager for the Men’s Basketball Team.
